Centro Plaza Shopping Center, in collaboration with the Provincial Forum of Socially Responsible Companies of Málaga and the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Málaga, carried out an initiative in which the experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was shared with the students of the Faculty. Representatives from Centro Plaza and Holiday World Resort participated in this action, where the commitments made with stakeholders were presented, and information about the Provincial Forum of Socially Responsible Companies was provided.
The event occurred at the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Málaga and was attended by representatives from various organisations, students, and other participants interested in CSR. The participation of the Manager of Centro Plaza, Mr Carlos García Perujo, was noteworthy, and it took place as follows:
- Presentation of Centro Plaza Shopping Center’s experience in CSR: Mr Carlos García Perujo presented the expertise of Centro Plaza Shopping Center in the field of CSR. During his presentation, he shared specific examples of actions and practices implemented by the shopping center to promote sustainability, responsibility towards employees, and commitment to the community.
- Promises made with stakeholders: The manager emphasised the pledges made by Centro Plaza Shopping Center with stakeholders, such as employees, customers, suppliers, and the community in general. Maintaining transparent communication and building trusting relationships with all stakeholders were highlighted.
The participation of the manager, Mr Carlos García Perujo, in the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative organised by Centro Plaza Shopping Center, the Provincial Forum of Socially Responsible Companies, and the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Málaga was crucial to share the shopping center’s experience and commitments in CSR. His presentation allowed attendees to learn firsthand about the implemented actions and the strategic vision of Centro Plaza Shopping Center regarding CSR.
