At Centro Plaza, we believe that the success of a business centre is not only measured by its occupancy rates but by its ability to generate a positive impact on the community. For this reason, last week we were honoured to participate in an event organised by REM (Network of Female Entrepreneurs of Marbella and Campo de Gibraltar), a leading association in promoting female talent in our region.
Commitment to the Community and CSR
During the event, our General Manager, Carlos García Perujo, had the opportunity to outline Centro Plaza’s vision and, most importantly, explain how our management is intrinsically linked to a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy in Marbella.
For us, being an active part of our surroundings is not merely an option—it is a responsibility. Carlos highlighted how the centre works daily to be a driver of local growth, supporting initiatives that encourage networking, entrepreneurship, and collaboration between local associations.
“Our goal is for Centro Plaza to be an ecosystem where businesses do not just coexist, but grow together within a framework of social commitment and mutual support,” Carlos noted during his speech.
An Ecosystem for Local Talent
Collaboration with associations like REM is fundamental to our roadmap. These meetings allow us to hear first-hand the needs of businesswomen and entrepreneurs in the area, enabling us to adapt our services and spaces to facilitate their success.
Centro Plaza’s CSR strategy is based on three fundamental pillars:
- Supporting the local business fabric: By fostering strategic alliances.
- Community integration: Serving as the central Meeting Point for Nueva Andalucía.
- Sustainability and ethics: Maintaining quality standards that respect and improve our environment.
We would like to thank REM for the invitation and the excellent organisation of the event. We will continue working to ensure that Centro Plaza remains much more than a shopping centre: a key player in the social and economic development of Marbella.
