This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Anna Fransson, Manager of the Spanish-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, to Centro Plaza. As active members of the Chamber, this visit provided a magnificent opportunity to strengthen our ties and highlight the fundamental role played by the Swedish business community in Marbella.

During her visit, Anna gained first-hand insight into the evolution of our centre. Since its inauguration in 1990, Centro Plaza has been a pioneer on the Costa del Sol, successfully integrating leisure, retail, and office spaces within an open and cosmopolitan environment. With a 98% occupancy rate and over 120 establishments, we have established ourselves as the quintessential Meeting Point of Nueva Andalucía.

The Chamber’s visit also included meetings with other leading firms that, in addition to being members of the institution, have chosen Centro Plaza as the headquarters for their operations.
Anna met with the team at Handelsbanken, a benchmark in mortgages and real estate operations for the Nordic market since 1989, as well as the prestigious firm Gonvel & Kamph, specialists in legal and tax consultancy for Swedish clients in Spain. These visits underscore that our centre is the strategic gateway for the Scandinavian market, where Nordic professionalism and the Mediterranean lifestyle converge to create an unparalleled business environment.
