Centro Plaza Shopping Center, in collaboration with the Marketing Club of Málaga, Peñarroya Hotel Group, and the Provincial Forum of Socially Responsible Companies of Málaga, organised an event focused on promoting strategies and best practices in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) among the members of the Marketing Club. The Center’s Manager, Mr Carlos García Perujo, actively participated and energised the event. In addition, Ms Mari Francis Peñarroya, CEO of Peñarroya Group and General Director of Holiday World Resort, shared her experience and knowledge in CSR.


The event took place at Fábrica Victoria in Málaga. It was attended by members of the Marketing Club of Málaga, representatives from Centro Plaza Shopping Center, and members of the Peñarroya Hotel Group. During the event, the following aspects related to Corporate Social Responsibility were addressed:

  • Presentation of CSR strategies and best practices: Mr Carlos García Perujo, Manager of Centro Plaza Shopping Center, presented CSR strategies and best practices implemented by the shopping center. Actions such as environmental sustainability initiatives, collaborations with charitable organisations, and employee responsibility policies were highlighted.
  • CSR experience of Peñarroya Hotel Group: Ms Mari Francis Peñarroya, CEO of Peñarroya Group and General Director of Holiday World Resort, shared the group’s expertise in Corporate Social Responsibility. Concrete examples of best practices developed in the group’s hotels and resorts were presented, including actions related to sustainability, social inclusion, and collaboration with the local community.
  • Knowledge exchange and networking: The event provided a space for exchanging knowledge and experiences among the participants. Members of the Marketing Club had the opportunity to share their own CSR strategies and best practices and establish connections.

The event was an enriching opportunity to promote CSR strategies and best practices among the club members. The active participation of the center’s manager, Mr Carlos García Perujo, and the presence of Ms Mari Francis Peñarroya provided valuable insights and inspiring examples of successful CSR implementation. The exchange of knowledge and networking strengthened collaboration between organisations and promoted the development of new initiatives in Corporate Social Responsibility.
