Last Friday, June 12, Centro Plaza had the honour of receiving a prestigious recognition from the Network of Entrepreneurs of the Costa del Sol (REM). The presentation took place during the VIII REM Awards Gala, held at the Hotel Occidental Banús, and was awarded by Isabel Carrasco and Nuria Martínez, president and treasurer of REM, respectively.
The event not only highlighted the work of Centro Plaza but also recognized the exemplary work of several critical associations for business development in the region, such as Apymem, Apymespa and CIT Marbella. In addition, the work of large businesswomen of the municipality was recognized in the following categories:
Best Networker of the Year.
Best Workshop of the Year.
Most Participatory Member.
Best Businesswoman of the Year.
Honor Award. Awarded the latter to María Bravo for her outstanding humanitarian work and constant promotion of Marbella through the Global Gift Foundation.
The recognition of Centro Plaza is based on the firm support that the shopping center provides to Marbella’s business fabric, with a particular focus on supporting businesswomen. This support is framed within the strategy of the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Promoting, among others, values such as professional ethics, good governance, and gender equality are essential aspects of Marbella’s sustainable and equitable growth.
