San Pedro Alc\u00e1ntara Fair will take place from 16 \u2013 21 October, 2018 and there will be a lot of great events.<\/h2>\n

Ringing bells and fireworks announce every year in mid-October the Festival and Fair in San Pedro Alc\u00e1ntara \u2013 the last event on the Costa del Sol\u2019s calendar. It is a traditional fair, dating back to the late nineteenth century, when the village consolidated as a farming community. Locals still pay tribute to their patron saint, San Pedro Alc\u00e1ntara, whose feast is on 19 October. The festival is famous for its day fair and its deep Andalusian roots. As it takes place in October, it also avoids the summer heat.<\/p>\n

Tuesday 16 October<\/h3>\n

07:00 p.m.: \u201cGiants and big-headeds\u201d<\/strong> parade.<\/p>\n

09:30 p.m.:<\/strong> Fireworks<\/strong> at Salida Beach.<\/p>\n

10.00 p.m.: Inauguration of the fairground.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wednesday 17 October<\/h3>\n

05.00 p.m.:<\/strong> Concert in the “Centro de Participaci\u00f3n Activa San Pedro Alc\u00e1ntara I y II”<\/strong> of  “Pepito El Caja”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

05.00 p.m.: <\/strong> Great Children\u2019s Party<\/strong> in the \u201cCaseta Municipal\u201d.<\/p>\n

06.00 p.m.:  Children\u2019s Day<\/strong>, with popular prices on the attractions.<\/p>\n

Thursday  18 October<\/h3>\n

05.00 p.m.: Th<\/b>e Grand Parade of Fair. <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

07.00 p.m.: <\/strong>Concert in the <\/strong>\u201cCaseta Municipal\u201d of  “Efecto Pasillo”<\/strong>. Free entrance.<\/p>\n

Friday 19 October<\/h3>\n

09.00 a.m.:<\/strong> Eucharist in the Parish of San Pedro de Alc\u00e1ntara.<\/p>\n

11.00 a.m.:<\/strong> Solemn Mass in the Parish in honor of San Pedro de Alc\u00e1ntara.<\/p>\n

12.30 p.m.:<\/strong> Procession of San Pedro de Alc\u00e1ntara.<\/p>\n

01.00 p.m.: <\/strong>Opening of the different \u201cCasetas\u201d.<\/p>\n

11.30 p.m.: <\/strong>Concert in the \u201c<\/strong>Caseta Municipal\u201d of  “David De Mar\u00eda”<\/strong>. Free entrance.<\/p>\n

Saturday 20 October<\/h3>\n
