The <\/span>1st Solidarity Race Centro Plaza <\/b>was officially presented on Wednesday 9 November at a press conference in the <\/span>Press Room of Marbella Town Hall.<\/b> Sport and solidarity are the cornerstones of this initiative, thereby promoting the benefits of healthy living by developing sports activities and also helping those people most in need.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The race, whose <\/span>proceeds will go entirely to the Spanish Red Cross, will have 8 km long<\/b> and will run through the streets of <\/span>Nueva Andaluc\u00eda (Marbella) on 13 Decembe<\/b>r. To highlight the wide range of categories, from baby to veteran, including a career adapted. In addition, there will be a collection point for toys and, after the race, entertainment for younger and a Zumba master class.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antonio Garcia Lopez, head of the Department of Sports of Marbella,<\/b> was responsible for introducing the race and was grateful to <\/span>Centro Plaza<\/b> by this joint initiative linked to sport. Then spoke <\/span>Oscar Fernandez Bracho,<\/b> manager of Central Plaza, who thanked sponsors and partners for their help and explained some details of the race.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alejandro Fern\u00e1ndez Mel\u00e9ndez,<\/b> Director of Relief and Emergency ofthe <\/span>Spanish Red Cross,<\/b> said that is the first charity race with which Red Cross will collaborate in <\/span>Marbella<\/b> and was grateful. At this event, the <\/span>partnership agreement<\/b> of Central Plaza and Spanish Red Cross was also signed.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation was also attended by <\/span>Kamal Abdel Rahman, owner of DY Gym Marbella<\/b>, the first worldwide Dorian Yates gym, which along with <\/span>Caf\u00e9 Yanx,<\/b> American restaurant located in Centro Plaza run by <\/span>David Fisher<\/b>, are the main <\/span>sponsors of the race .<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration<\/b> can be done through the portal \u2018<\/span>Dorsalchip<\/b><\/a>\u2019 and in the website of <\/span>Centro Plaza<\/b> (<\/span>www.centroplaza.es<\/span><\/a>)<\/span> until December 12.<\/b> There is also the possibility to sign the same day of the race at the start area (<\/span>Avenida Jos\u00e9 Banus, Puerto Banus<\/b>) from 8:00 to 9:00 am in the morning.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The registration fee for the 1st Solidarity Race Centro Plaza Marbella is <\/span>6 euros for adults and 3 euros for children,<\/b> which will go entirely to the Spanish Red Cross. The collection of numbers is the day of the test at 8:00 to 9:30 am in the departure area.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be a wide variety of categories, from child to veteran, including a children’s and adult categories. <\/span>Distances are 400m, 800m, 1.600 m and 8,000m<\/b>. In addition, there will be trophies and \/ or medals to the winners of each category and a technical shirt of the race will be given to all registered.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, note that when the race will be over, there will be <\/span>children’s entertainment for little ones and Zumba master class.<\/b> All this together with a <\/span>toy collection point<\/b> for anyone who wishes to collaborate depositing toys and these are then <\/span>distributed by the Red Cross. <\/b>The only requirements are that the toy is new and non-military character.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
